, LONDON, October 22. _0n the eve of a private meeting of bishops at Lambeth Palace, when the Archbishop of Canterbury is expected to make a pronouncement on the recently . passed Deceased Wife's Sister Act, Viseonnt Halifax, President of the English Church Union, forwarded a " Canterbury Address," signed by S7OO priests and eight bishops, including Bishop Goe (formerly Bishop of Melbourne), seven Deans, and seven Archdeacons, thanking him for having vindicated the marriage law of the Church, and assuring him of .the signatories' heartiest support.
