U.S. RAILWAY FREIGHTS.
> _ State y. Federation. •; {(deceived 7.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 22. Mr. E. T. Young, Attorney-General of : fhe State of Minnesota, in defiance of an 'injunction of the United States District Court of St. Paul, attempted to enforce under ice State law the reduction of railToad freights. He thereupon fined for contempt of Court, but refused to pay .the fine, and ■was jenanded in custody. He will appeal Jo the United States Supreme Court.
