SUDDEN DEATH AT HOSPITAL.
A man named Edward Roberts, aged about forty years, was picked up by the police in Lower Queen-street this morning, and as he appeared to be seriously ill, a constable conveyed him to the district hospital, where he died half an hour after a_—ssion. A certificate from Dr. Hooper was found in Roberts' possession, stating that he was suffering from heart disejase and recommending his admission to the hospital. There were also a number of papers relating to some contract works at Dargaville.
