Mokoia left Sydney yesterday of-ernoon, and should arrive at Auckland on Sunday afternoon next. The Mokoia leaves a£_un for Sydney on Monday next. THE MARY ISABEL. Oar (Rawene corerspondent telegraphs that the barquentine Mary Isabel, which recently went aground there, was successially lowed off the beach by the s_s. OhinejmTTri __t.--w_-ye-o'clock last night. THE WAIHORA!. _3_3 TJnion Co.'s new cargo steamer Waihora arrived at 8 o'clock rhi* morning, with a large general cargo from Calcutta, Singapore, and Samarang. The Waihora, which Is the latest addition to the Union Co.'s fleet, is an ideal type of cargo carrier of 4tfi_ tons gross, somewhat similar in de-__!-rn and build to the Wairuna, of which she may be described as an enlarged edition. The Wa_her_ has a cargo capacity of 10,600 tons measurement, and the arrangements for the quick handling of merchandise are of the most up-to-date type. The steamer has a sea-going speed of 105 knots per hour. The Waihora was launched this year from the yards of Messrs Swarm, Hunter, and W. Richardson, Newcastle-on-Tyne, ppd proceeded direct to Calcutta, where Efce loaded and left on August 2nd. ttvely. Thursday Island was passed on the 28' th', and on the 4th inst the vessel arrived at Sydney. The voyage was resumed at mii-night on Friday last, the North Cape rounded at noon yesterday, and Auckland made as above. The Waihora leaves for the South at five o'clock this afternoon, and on completion of her discharge will be placed on the loading berth for Calcutta, with Auckland as her final port as a large number of horses are to be shipped here. The steamer is commanded by Capt H. A. Rntter, who has the following officers under him: Chief, Mr TV. G. Braund; second, Mr F. S. H»rn; third, Mr R. Chad-wick; chief engineer, Mr , R.
