WAIHI NEWS.
(By Telegrapri.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Thursday. There was a good attendance at the fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Waihi Lodge of Druids last night. Four new members were initiated and ten proposed. Delegates were appointed to confer with ■delegates from other lodges in No. 10 district with reference to a football match with the Auckland Druids, to be held in Ohinem'uri. Bro. O'Grady was elected to represent the lodge on the Hospital Conference. During the evening P.D.P. Bro. Malcolmson made a presentation of a handsome P.A. collar to P.A.S. Bro. Mitchell. A lecture on "Co-operation" was to ha%-e been delivered by Bro. Homer. but owing to the late hour of closing the lodge postponed it till nest meeting.
