Business was fairly,brisk on the Exchange to-day, and more .inquiry was made ___■■._ low priced milling stocks. Tairua Triumphs sold at s_d, and New Monowais at sd. Buyers came in once more for Old Kapongas at 3d, and for Kurunuis at 4d. Kurunui-Galedonians were a little easier, being offered at lldWaitangi shares were sold at 3/10, after whkh 3/S was the buying figure, while sellers were willing to accept 4/. Waiotahi shares changed- hands at 11/5 and Jl/10, with buyers still offering the former, figure. Crowns failed to recover the recent drop. 7/1 being the buying quotation to-day. Golden Belts maintained the recent rise, being still wanted at 1/9, and Komata Reefs again sold at 1/6. Tairua Broken Hills were a little easier, being sold to-day at 5/6, while Talisman Consolidated shares changed hands at 44/3 and 44/6, more being availahle, however, at the latter price. Buyers and sellers of Waihi shares failed to meet, there being sl_pe_ee difference, which seems a small amount to check business in stock quoted at 174/6 sellers and 174/ buyers. Investment stocks met with fair inquiry. National Banks changed hands at 10S/ and New Zealand Insurance at 85/, while Tanpiri coals were better, being sold up to 20/9. New Zealand Cement shares continue to firmin price, holders now asking 35/, while buyers offered 33/9. Wilson's Cement were also in request at 31/6 for preference and 29/6 for ordinary shares. City of Auckland 4 per cent debentures were °_?_"ed..%t £9S, but no buyer quoted, while for Auckland Harbour Board 4i debentures, £100 was offered, but sellers did not quote.

The return from the Komata Beefs GJtL Co. for the four weeks ending July 13th was a very satisfactory one! 8300. tons of ore having yielded bullion worth £_960.
