Our Hamilton correspondent telegraphs that the statement presented to the Waikato Winter Show Association shows that the association had had a successful season. After allowing for the collection of several outstanding amounts, there would be a profit of £113, out of which a vote of £25 was made to the onarantors of the Waikato court at the New Zealand International Edition, who were personally guaranteeing the amount due to the Esmhition Committee (about £80). It was suggested that other local bodies should also assist. An honorarium was voted to the secretary, (Mr. Restell), and a bonus to the assis-tant-secretary (Mr. Bullock), as well as a small donation to the fire leaving an approximate balance of £VI to carry over.
