ANNUAL KEPORT.

The annual meeting of shareholders in the Waiotahi G.JL Company will be held in the Chamber of Commerce to-morrow week. The annual report of the directors states that the taking ont of the rich run of gold above No. 5 level has been pushed on as vigorously as circumstances would permit. The mine has been extensively opened up, from which favourable results may be expected. During the year 17.337 tons of quartz and 80cwt 1041b of picked stone has been crushed for a return of 82.7270z 14dwt of gold, whitti has been sold for £224,891 19/11The balance brought forward from the previous year was £24.787 15/1. and the addition of proceeds of gold and interest on deposits made the total receipts amount to £249.951 15/2. The disbursements totalled £220,793 10/3, being made ap as follows:—Cost of mining operations, £32,41S expenses outside mining, including tases (£4446 17/), £5275 0/1; dividends. £153,000, leaving a balance of £29,----15S 4/11, Since the close of the year a dividend of 1/3 per share had been paid, absorbing £]5,000 of the balance. During tue year an air-compressor and a cyanide plant had been purchased, the cost of which had been charged to - mining expenses. The retiring directors are Messrs Chas. Hudson and W. E. Wilson, who offer themselves for re-election.
