The annual meeting of shareholders in the Waiotahi G.JL Company will be held in the Chamber of Commerce to-morrow week. The annual report of the directors states that the taking ont of the rich run of gold above No. 5 level has been pushed on as vigorously as circumstances would permit. The mine has been extensively opened up, from which favourable results may be expected. During the year 17.337 tons of quartz and 80cwt 1041b of picked stone has been crushed for a return of 82.7270z 14dwt of gold, whitti has been sold for £224,891 19/11The balance brought forward from the previous year was £24.787 15/1. and the addition of proceeds of gold and interest on deposits made the total receipts amount to £249.951 15/2.
