FISHING BOAT MISSING.

WRECKAGE WASHED ASHORE.

TWO MEN" KEPORTED DROWXED.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent^

COROJIAXDEL, Tuesday

According to information received in Coromandel, the fishing boat Zealandia has been lost between here and Cabbage Bay, together with Messrs. Alfred Chapman and Rowley O'Brien, who -were on board at the time. It is reported that some parts of the boat have been washed ashore in Amodeoßay.

The missing vessel was seen by the crews of two other fishing boats, but she was finally lost sight of in the thick mist, and it is thought that she has run under some of the islands for shelter or come on to Coromandel.

Both Chapman and O-'Brien were well known Coromandel men, and the former leaves a widow and five children. Brien was the son of Mr. Hugh O'Brien, of Coromandel, and was a single man.
