Brookes) endorsed the- last speaker's remarks, remarking that it was a well known fact that the Hour received from the Auckland Mill was good, and that BAD REPORTS HAD BEES RECEIVED OF THE SOUTHERN FLOUR IMAGED ON THE MARKET, WHILE THE AMERICAN FLOUR "WAS REPORTED TO BE EVEN WORSE. Mr Derrick moved, "That the Secretary bo Instructed to write to the -various unions them to support local manufacturers in preference to importations."
