Nominations for tlie positions of officebearers of Auckland Eacing Club for the ensuing season closed with the secretary (Mr. J. F. Hartland) on Saturday last. For the seats of president and vice-pre-sident only one nomination for each was received, that of the Hon. E. Mitchelson for the former, and Mr. A. H. Gorief or the latter. For the five vacancies on the committee Sir Robert Lockhart Dγ Sharman, Messrs. James Coe, Walter Davies, R.-W. Duder, George Dunnett, Charles Grey, John Marshall, Murdoch McLean and Alfred Nathan were nominated The election takes place on the 4th of August.
