GOLDFIELDS V. THAMES.
(By Telegrapli.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Saturday. The representative hockey match. Goldfields v. Thames, took place at Waihi today, and nothwithstanding the inclement state of the weather, there was a good attendance of spectators. The game was very evenly contested, and ended in a victory for Thames by fonr goals to three. Mr Gibson gave every satisfaction as referee.
