ASSOCIATION MATCHES.
The match. North Shore v. ponsonby played at Devonport, resulted in a draw, neither side scoring. The wet ball vented any very brilliant play, but the contest was a keen one. Although the Shore had the best of the game, the Ponsonby goal-keeper managed to save some good shnrs. one especially pent in by Darre. f>f the Shore, travelling like greased lightning, was beautifully stopped. At times the game was very fast.
The North Shore Seconds and Olympic had a great game at the Shore, each side scoring a goal. The Olympic had the best of the game in the first spell, bat the latter part of the second the North Shnre were several times near scoring, the bali at one time being half through the goal. FIRST JUNIORS. W.Y.M.I. B (2 goals) v. St. John's (3 goals}. Tabernacle (nil) v. Gnild (nil). Ivanhoe (4 goals) v. V.M.C.A. a goal). North Shore (2 goals) v. Olympic (1 g-oal). W.Y.M.I. A (1 goal) v. Carlton (nil). St. Peter's won by defanlt from Corinth'airs. THIRD GRADE. United (1 goal , ) v. W.T.M.I (nil). Arawa A (6 goals) v. V.M.C.A. (nil). Tabernacle won by default from Arawa B. THE AUSTRALIAN GAME. The match between Eden and Anstra! on the Doiniiin on Saturday was won by tbo former by 40 points to 32. The junior match between Imperial 11. and Anstral 11. was won by the lattei- by the winners, and Monk kicked one for Imperial.
