THAiIES, Satnrday. The match between City and Country to-day ended in favour of City by eight points to nil. Willett scored early in the second spell from a forward rnsh. and the second try was similarly scored by Keen. McCallcm converting. This decides the premiership in favour of City.
In the junior flsrures Suburbs had a win from City by default, but this does not affect the result of the championship. City having a. commanding lead.
Nert Satnrday an A and B march will be played, after which Mr Stewart wtll select the team to play Auckland on Saturday, the 27th Inst.
