THE COUNTIES' CONFERENCE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. At the Counties' Conference to-day officers were elected as follows: dent, .Mr. A. E. Jull (Waipawa); vicepresidents, Messrs. C. J. Harper (Ashburton), J. G. Wilson (Bulls), F. W.Lang (Tuhikaramea), and W. Fraser (Wellington); treasurer, Mr. H. J. Kichards (Levin); auditor, Mr S. Bolton (Mangatainoka); executive committee, Messrs. R. Bould (Johnsonville), A. Marchant (Stratford), J. D. Bruce (AEaroa) P. Barrie (Oamaru), C. Cockburn Hood (Masterfcpn), S. J. Carmen (Kiwitea) C N. Orbell (Timaru), A. D. MeLeod (Martinborough), J. Horn (Vincent), J. Talbot (Geraldine), P. Best (Waimea), and C. A. Budge (Hawera). Most of the morning was spent on the Model ByLaws Bill, to which no material alterations were made.
