" DEAD MAN'S " RECOVERY.

Some sensation .was caused at Koebdale, Bng.. on Monday. May 2T, by the recovery of an apparently dead man. A traveller, named James Fegan, aged 26, of Preston, who has been living in lodgings in Davestreet, Rochdale, had been seriously ill ■with pneumonia. His brother and sister were summoned to his bedside, aad he apparently died at seven o'clock on Monday morning. The body was "laid away" aud left in the room with only a sheet covering it. The doctor was informed that death had takei place, and a certificate was made out for the purposes of interment. When the undertaker was measuring the body, however, he noticed a slight movement! This occurred a second time and then the eyelids began to twitch, A brother in the room shouted wildly to Fesan, who moaned in reply. Medical assistance was summoned, but in the meantime the undertaker had, by plunging Fegan - s hands into cold v.ater, so far revived the man that he muttered, "Oh, I'm so cold."
