AUCKLAND VERSUS BULLER.
The challenge match between the Buller Union and the Auckland Representatives will take place at Alexandra Park to-morrow. The Buller Representatives have been here all the week, and have been steadily training and practising, so that they are now in good form and expect to give a good account of themselves to-morrow afternoon. Auckland will put a strong fifteen in the field, and a good match may be anticipated. The two unions have not met before, so that there ia little upon which their relative merits may be gauged. The West Coasters gut up -a good game a couple of seasons ago when they played Wellington as a curtain-raiser to the British-New Zealand match. They were beaten, but have progressed since then, and, in addition, the present team is in much better form to stand a hard match. A junior A and B match will be played as a curtain-raiser to tie game. Following are the teams:— BULLER. Colours: Cardinal and Blue. Full-back: R. Hal!. Three-quarters: R. Colvin, W. D. McPike, E. Hansby. Five-eighths: J. McNally (captain). Half: W. Brown. Wing forwards: C. Woods, W. Gibbs. Forwards: Hookers, W. Richarde, and F. Dondiff; middle-row, V. Marshall, H. Ferguson (lock), E. Hogg; back row, B. Elliott and T. King. Emergencies, backs: Stale and McKaulty; forwards, Foster and MeElwee.
