At the Police Court to-day John Jienry Whitton pleaded guilty to a charge of theft of a fish service from C. E. Mills and others. Accused, who was head of the retail department of Mills and Co., was committed to the Supreme Court ftfr sentence.
The second ease of alleged theft from a warehouse was heard at the Police Court to-day, when Henry Norman Cossar pleaded guilty to theft of a lady's costume from Sargoodt Son and Ewen, and was committed for sentence.
