"BLOODY PERSECUTION."

Campbell, in a sermon at the City Temple, declared that the civilised world could no longer tolerate the diabolical system of bloody persecution practised by King Leopold of Belgium in the Congo. If, he added, the Powers refused to cooperate, then Great Britain, with America, or alone, ought to bring the ruthless tyrant to his senses.
