BERESFORD AND THE ADMIRALTY.
(Received 8.47 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. The Admiralty has denied that Lord Charles Beresford's business is connected ■with the Channel Fleet. [The " Nation " stated, that Lord Chas. Beresford was alarmed at the unreadiness of his fleet in case of a sudden, attack, and an independent report had it that the Admiralty had summoned Lord Charles to a consultation.]
