A rather unfortunate experience befell a wedding party at Owharoa on Thursday last, i- It appears that the newlymarried couple were just embarking for the honeymoon tour, and when leaving the house of the bride the horse attached to the buggy became rather fractious with the result that the buggy ■was capsized aud the occupants tErown out on to the road. The animal smashed the body of the vehicle to pieces, and careered -with the 'harness and a pair of broken shafts back to the stables at Waikino. The couple were much shaken by their sudden fall, but another conveyance having soon been placed at their disposal, they resumed their journey.
