,;MR. ALFRED BARNES. . A very well-known resident of One*anga, Mr- Alfred Barnes, died at his ttsidenee last night, at the age of 75 .. years, the immediate cause being heart *&hire. Mr. Barnes was most highly by all who had the pleasure of jg? acquaintance. Mr. Barnes was a native of JMriclk. England, and came to this eolgff m the ship Devonshire in 1563. For *»»e time he was in the employ of Brown and Camcbell, but for years acted as shipping agent at P»ta the Union and also the ■aortiem Steamship Companies.
