As is well-known to Antipodean billiard enthusiasts, a great feature of Fred Weiss' game is his remarkable skill in playing cushion cannons. Few men now playing are his equals in this department of the game of billiards. Weiss himself is confident that at cushion cannon play he is at the top of the tree, and has issued a challenge to play any man in the world a match of 1000 cannons for £100 aside —each cannon to be made from ball to cushion first, i.e., after striking the first ball the cue ball must then come in contact with «se _r men coshionu below _w__og £__■ _«__■_»
