(By Telegraph-—Press Association.) DIVORCE COURT (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In the Divorce Court to-day a decree nisi was granted in the case of Anderson v. Anderson, on the wife's petition. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. DUNEDIN, Friday. A fourteen-roomed house and stable at Merton, valued respectively at £300 and £ 100, belonging to James Murison, were totally destroyed by fire to-day. The house was Insured for £250, and the stable for £75, both in the Alliance office. The furniture was insured for £50, office not known. WELLINGTON, Friday. The City Council to-night adopted a. resolution in favour of purchasing, at £3700, a site between Ngahauranga and Johnsonville municipal abattoirs. WELLINGTON, Friday. Matilda Morris, a domestic servant, 26 years old, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge of having murdered her illegitimate child.
