NO. 2 NATIVES. The No. 2 Natives' competition for Hayman Cup took place at Peurose on Saturday, and after a close finish between Lance-Corporal Westray and Sergt. Phillips, resulted in a win for the former. Si'i-st. Phillips put up a frond •performance, scoring 46 ai 20<>, 44 at MOM, and 47 at SUO yards, a total of 137 out of 150 points. The. following arc the principal scores at 200, 300, and ."JOO yards:— Lauce-Corporal Westray (handicap 2G). 41. 3D and 42, total 14S; Sergt. Phillips (5). 40. 44 and 47. total 142: Lance-Corp. McMurtrie (26). 40. 29 and ?,3. total 12S: Corp. Watson (scratch), 41, 37 and 40, total US. NO. II NATIVES. The No. 3 Natlv-cs fire the third competition for their champion belt on Saturday next. The match provides for seven shots :;nd one si"hter (not to count) each nt 200 and 500 yards. Lieut. Kretschmar is leading for the belt by thrrp points, the aggregates being: Lieut. Kretsehiuur. 116 points; i 'olonr-Sergt. Kin.?, 2nd, 113; Scrgt. Kov.-les. 3rd. 104. The conditions of the belt are that four matches be fired, throe of which are to count, the highest aggregate taking the belt. The above company rrill fire for a trophy on the same date, thy? 23rd. It will be a handicap match. NO. 9 COMPANY GARRISON ARTILLERY.
