ROYAL TACHT SQUADRON. The members of Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron -veld a smoke concert ln the club rooms last night, when there was a large attendance. The Commodore (Mr C. P- Murdoch) presided, and during the evening -presented the prises won durinjr the season. Songs were sung by Messrs W. George. Philltpson, Lonergan, Whlt3on, F. Bullen. and others. Mr P. P. Battley gave a pleasant reading. Mr Frank Bullen, the writer of sea stories, "was the ruest of the evening. The Commodore proposed __s health, which was responded to with musical bononrs. "Mr Bullaai. in replying referred tot_e mercantile marine.
