AN IRISH LIFE ROMANCE

From BaUynahineh, a. district of County Down, comes a remarkable romance of real life—a daughter lofrt as a little ehlld being restored to her mother after nine long years. Snsaa Kerr. a. girl about 13 or 14 years <jf ag-e. who was employed by a fanner in rhe neighbonrhood. went Into Ballynahineh rwently to obtain some hemstitching or fancy work from a local agent to take back ro her employer' 3 residence. She seemfKi, however, reluctant to depart from the town, and after lingering- abont awhile. <*ventuaHy handed, back the -work to rhe agent, and went ronnd several houses asking the residents to receive her. A woman fo whom tlie girl applied took her in. and made inquiries as to her name and parentage, whan the story of the mysterious disappearance of a little girl about nine years ago to the questioner's recollection. It appears that when three years of age tne little one vanished, the mother, Mxa Kierr, of Belfast, having since beaa In ignorance a£ her whereabouts. When the girl related her history to her hostess ia BaUyauhimiu, ahe immediately communicated with the mother. The parent went down by the first train, and waa overjoyed to recognise her longviost dangfrter, she toofe home with her.
