<To the Kdftot) Sir.—Your remark that the recent highway robbery in the Cemetery Gully points stiODgJy to the pressing necessity for the construction of the contemplated bridge, will be thoroughly endorsed by those hapless persons who are compelled to use the. present route. Only a little while ago two" poor fellows who were cripples, bad to toil their painful way to the hospital ovex the present track. Surely a pathetic argument for the prompt erection of a bridge on the Karangahape-road level.—l am, etc., T.P.
