HELP ARRIVING FROM ALL DIRECTIONS.

NEW YORK, April 19. A huge army—numbering folly one hundred thousand persons — is homeless, and great suffering is feared, failing speedy relief. Meantime helpis arriving from, all directions, and it is hoped that actual starvation will be averted. The well-known Cliff House pleasure resort has been swept bodily into the sea.
