REWARDS FOR HEROISM.
PARIS, April 2> M. Berfchon, Minister for Works, has conferred the Crois of the Legion of Hpnour.on Nenry and PruvosL the leaders of the surviving miners, and gold medals on eleven others. He will also confer the decoration of Chevalier of the Legion of Honour on the chief of the German salvage corps, who took part in the rescue operations, and gold medals on the rest of the corps. •
