(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) RUN OVER BY-A TRAIN. CSHKISTCHTTRCH, Friday. An inquest was held to-day on the body of a man run over by the train at Soekburn yesterday. Though known latterly as McMillan, the evidence showed that deceased's real name was Thomas Richards. He had no friends in the colonies. A verdict of accidental death was returned, the jury adding a rider stating that great credit was doe to the guard for his promptness in stopping the train, and to Constable "McTifan for assistance rendered. MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE DISMISSED. INVERCARGILL, Friday. J. L. Whittingham •was before a bench of justices at Gore to-day on a charge of manslaughter, arising out of the death
