Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Tamaki West Road Board, held on t*:e 9th day of. December, 1005. a Resolut'cr was passed applicable to that portion of the Tamaki West Road District known as St. Helier's Bay Township, being the whole of the land shown on plan deposited in the Land Transfer Oflice at Auckland. No. 410. PROVIDING:— 1. That at least one side of every privy or closet, constructed within such area be an external wall, and be fitted with a trapdoor or slide so that rae pan may be reached from the outside for the purpose of emptying. 2. The box or pan required for use In every privy or closet be constructed of galvanised iron or such other material as shall be approved of by the Inspector of Nuisances and to be of the following uniform dimensions in the inside thereof fifteen inches deep and fourteen inches in diameter or such other dimensions, shnpe, lor si_c as the Inspector of Nuisances shall i approve of, and to be properly fitted with two handles, bnt no pan to be of a greater size or capacity than three cubic feet. 3. The Inspector of Nuisances may require the owner or occupier of the premises upon which any privy or closet is situated Ito remove any leaky, defective or improI perly constructed pan, and such owner or occupier, within seven days after bejug served with a notice requiring him so to 1 do, shall remove such pan and replnce [ the same with another pan made in accordance with these by-laws, and the said proposed by-laws contain the provision that any person breaking, failing, or neglecting to comply with any of the same shall be liable to thepenalty of Five pounds for such offeuce. 4. A copy of the said By-laws is. deposited at the office of the said Board. St. Heller's Bay, West Tamaki. and also at the Post Office, St. Helier's Bay, and will be open for Inspection from the 18th day of December. 1905, to the 12th day of January, 190_, «.
