The Anti-Trust BilL
MELBOURNE, December 1 15.
In the House of Representatives to-day Mr. Deakin, in reply to a question, said he saw nothing in the Anti-Trust Bill inconsistent with preferential trade. On the contrary, he thought that until some such provision was made in the Mother Country and all the dominions of the Empire, there would not be adequate means of protecting trade.
In the Senate to-day Mr. Playf ord said he hoped the House would prorogue on Thursday next. - The Contracts Immigrants Bui passed its remaining stages, with slight amendment.

In the House of Representatives the Electoral Sugar and Excise Bills passed their third reading. The Senate's amendments to the Contract Immigrants' Bill were adopted. The second reading of the Capital Site Bill will be taken to-day.
