SALE OF MINING PROPERTY. An auction sale of the property on the Buller River owned by the Newton River Hydraulic Sluicing Co., Ltd., in liquidation, was held by Mr R. C. Carr at his auction rooms to-day. The property consists of 96 acres held under a mining lease, six -water races, three tail races, and two residence sites. There w&3 a fair attendance, and the highest bidder was Mr Duncan E. Clark, to whom the property was sold for £470.
