FRENCH ARMY AND THE MONARCHY.
PARIS, September 26. The Minister for Agriculture (M. Ruau), speaking at a banquet at Thonon-les-Bains yesterday, referred to the recant Franco-German crisis. "All danger of war." he said, "is now averted, but in order to work in peace France requires a strong and sincerely Republican army."
