BLENHEIM, this day. j Fire which broke out about foui j ; o'clock this morning destroyed a graii store in the vicinity of Blenheim rail I way station owned by Mrs W. Clous ton, and leased by Arthur Wiffen (Otug j Malting Company). The s ore contain? | a large stock of produce, and this i i practie-ally destroyed or ruined. In addi I tion to the barley there were abou 1 ! 2000 sacks cf wheat and a less quantity of oats, besides quantities of cowgra..: and other seed. It is not known how th. fire originated. FIRE AT WANGANUL WANGANUI, this day. Fire this morning destroyed a twe storey workshop owned by Mr D. Mc Farlane, and occupied by Mr A. Thomp son, builder and contractor, who wa; uninsured, and los all the contents o the shop, including an eneine machin ! cry, and took valued at £160. Threi I other carpenters lost all their tools one chest beirg valued at £30.
