The annual meeting of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club was held last night in the Criterion Theatre. Mr W. J. Ellis presided, and there was a large attendance of members. The secretary (Mr 11. Poland) i read the report and balance-sheet, which was adopted, after considerable discussion, in which Messrs ('. Short. Tresize. Black, Ellis, Francis. Nathan. Moresby, Hubbard. Wells. Montgomery and Hunt tooS part. The balloting for four members of committee resulted in the election of Messrs A. Montgomery. 11. K. Bush. J. Clarki'u, aud W. Nicholls. Messrs Quick. Wilson and Moresby acted as scrutineers. The newlyelected committeemen thanked the members for electing thorn, attd promised to do their best for the interests of the elnb.
