The consolation matcn at the Napier ladies' golf championship meeting, played ou Saturday, the last day of the tournament, was won by Miss Harcourt (Wellington), with S6 net, Mrs W. R. Bloomfield (Auckland) being ruuner-np with 1)2 net. A foursome- match was won by Miss Gorrie (Auckland) —which Miss Gorric the telegram doe.s not say—and Mr Borthwiek with five dowh. A mixed foursome was played at. Cambridge on Saturday, with the result that Dr. Coates and Miss R. Sheet won with 62, Mr Hurd-Wood and Miss Farrer being next with 63. All the players started from scratch. For the third test match against th( Hamilton Club, to be played on Saturday, the following Is the Cambridge Club's team: —Ladies: Misses H. Wells, N. Young, Brooks, K. Willis. J. Brooks, and Mrs Matheson; emergency, Miss M. Young. Gentlemen: Dr. Coates, Messrs J. Dixon, J. L. S. Richardson, W. Matheson. M. V. Dixon, and J.
