Mr. Loder Retains Office

LONDON, April 7. It has been decided that Mr. Gerald Loder shall retain office as Junior Lord of the Treasury. Mr. Balfour instanced the case of Mr. Gladstone in holding the Secretaryship for the Colonies for half a year without a seat after a defeat on his appointment.
