The master of the tug-boat Young Bungaree (Captain Whittingham) met with a most unusual accident on Sunday last, when the boat was at one of th c coastal timber ports. He was blown out of his bunk about two o'clock in the morning by an explosion of rockets, and was badly hurt about the hands and feet. He was brought to Auckland in a critical condition, and ia now under medical care. The cause of the explosion cannot be accounted for. A similar accident happened at Newcastle recently.
