COSSACK EXCESSES AT MUKDEN.

When General Kuropatkin ordered the retreat from Mukden, the Cossacks indulged in the wildest excesses. They looted the city, murdered several Europeans, and set fire to many buildings. Order was not restored until tbe Japanese entered the city.
