__r. John Redmond. M.P., speaking at t„e Irish National banquet in London last nisht, said tuc political prospects of Ireland were never octtcr than now, despite Lord Rosebery's fruitless denunciation of Home Rule. The Irish would support no Liberal party that took Lord Roaebery's view. Even if the Liberals were returned, nominally independent of the Nationalists, trie Government would ___ it a sheer impossibility to govern Ireland, for the Irish party would make it impossible.
