POLITICAL ADDRESS IN AUCKLAND. • (By Telegraph,—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The "Poet" understands that the Premier will go to Auckland shortly in order to deliver a political address, in which he will no doubt reply to the speech of the Leader of the Opposition. It is also expected that he will make ■, some important announcements with .; respeot to the public finance, and espeei- I ally as to the revenue. On the eve of V the departure of the Premier for the West Coast I intimated that he would take an early opportunity of delivering an. important-political speech to the ; electors of Auckland City in answer to - the recent statements of the Leader of the Opposition. It is also understood that the Hon. m Mr MoGowan will visit several parts of , his electorate before the reassembling pf Parliament in June next.
