STOCK AND PRODUCE. Messis Alfred Buckland and Sons' report that all young, useful sorts of horses are In demand. At the Haymarket we had a full yard, "with good competition for quality. Aged draughts realised from £14 to £30 10/; medium do., £16 10/ to £21. No colts or fillies were entered. Light harness horses and hacks. £10 to £20 10/: weeds and ponies, from £2; straw, 32/ to 35/ a load. Hides, Skins, Tallow, etc.—Hides: Ox, 4d to 61d; cow, 33d to 4id; kips, 4d to 4Jd; calf, 4id to 51d; horse, 3/ to 6/; damaged, at relative rates. Bones, 5/: horsehair. 1/2; fallow. 36/ to 19/6. Fat and voting calves, in full supply, kept recent quotations, small selling from II to 10/. medium to IS/, heavy to 43/; 82 sold. Fat cattle came forward ifi less than average numbers and were firm at recent quotations. Steers ranged in price from £7 12/6 to £10 10/; cows, £4 to £7 15/; 225 yarded. The sheep pens were well filled with a good class of mutton. Best wethers sold up to 21/6; lighter weights, to 17/6; heavy ewes, to IS/6; others. 13/0 to 16/: 1500 sold. Lambs, plentiful, were at lower values, best reaching to 17/; lighter weishts, 9/ t* 12/6; 492 sold. There was a large yarding of pigs, which sold freely.
