TJEMUERA ROAD DISTRICT. PROPOSED ELECTRIC TRAMLINE EXTENSION. A Meeting of the Ratepayers of the Remuera Road District will be held on MONDAY NEXT, the 23rd inst., at 7.30 p.m., at the Public School, Reinuera-road, to consider the following proposal by the Auckland Electric Tramways Company:— "That the Auckland Electric Tramways Company be allowed to discontinue the 'Bus Sefvi)?es along Victoria Avenue and to Mountain-road from their present terminus when and so soon as they extend their present Tram Lines and Services along the Main Road to Green Lane, the fare for such Extension to be One Penny, with a reduction of 25 per cent therefrom to purchasers of books of 50 tickets." And a Poll of the Ratepayers will be taken on such Proposal ou TUESDAY NEXT, the 24th inst., between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., at the Road Board's Office, Remuera-road. and St. Mark's Parish Hall, Remuera-road. That" the subjoined Article shall be inserted after Article 27, viz., 2fa— The Directors may. with the sanction of a General Meeting divide its capital by subdivision of its shares or any .of them into shares of smaller amounts than is fixed by the Memorandum of Association. And take further notice that immediately after the foregoing resolution shall have been confirmed as a special resolution, the subjoined resolution will be proposed. Should such resolution' be passed by the requisite majority, it will be submitted for confirmation as a special resolution to a subsequent meeting, which will be held on MONDAY, the Oth day of February, 1905, at tbe same hour and place as above mentioned.
