Duco, which left for the scene of the wreck to-day at eleven a.m., returned to port at half-past two pjn. The Nambucca has slipped back off the reef, and her hull is now completely submerged. All that is visible is the very top of the funnel, and the upper portion of the masts. The wreck is pointing due south. The vessel struck on the reef inside of Tom's Rock, which is situated about half-a-mile west of Sinclair Head. There was a considerable sea running this afternoon, and it is expected that the vessel will break up in the first southerly gale. BLENHEIM, Tuesday. The cargo on the Nambucca was as follows: 23 bales wool, shipped at Port Underwood by Mr Stace, of Robinhood Bay: 225 sacks chaff, of which 125 sacks were shipped at Blenheim, by Messi-3 Clouston and Co., and 100 sacks by the Fresh Food and Ice Company; 20 sacks peas 64, Parker; 6 sacks of potatoes, shipped by Clouston and Co. Only the wool is protected by insurance. The mail, which was only a small parcel, 22ontained a considerable quantity of information collected by the Wairau Road Board from sheep-owners, and was being forwarded to Mr Shortt, Government Commissioner, for the purposes of the Clarence Bridge Commission. Mr Priddle, on% of the owners of the Nambucca, estimates the loss at £6000.
