New Moanataiari.—Driving on the Cambria reef from the winze is being rontinued. The reef looks as well as ever, and the mineralised band still runs strongly with the lode.
May Queen.—The battery is still crushing on ore. the mill running one shift. The whole stampers will'soon be engaged on Moanataiari ore.
Kuranui-Ca ledoni-an. — Operations are confined to sinking a winze on the Cambria reef. Indications encourage the company to further effort. Boring operations have now ceased, and there is little chance of the company entering into further negotiations. An endea" tour is being made to raise further capital at Home to carry out a comprehensive scheme of development work. Recent advices lead to the belief thai; the funds will soon be substantialbr in-' creased.
New Saxon.—Driving on No. 2 Cardigan reef on the break is proceeding. Al'ournia.—lt is intended to drive°on the No. 1 reef met with in the tunnel, and a contract was let to-day.
