An inquest was held at Karangahake yesterday before Mr. Forrest, coroner, into the circumstances attending the death of Walter Ings, the victim of yesterday's accident in the Government railway tuna el. Nothing was disclosed in the evidence other than the simple explanation of the fatality wired yesterday, and a verdict of accidental death was returned. The interment took place in the Paeroa Cemetery to-day.
