The Talune sails for tho South agalu on Saturday. THE UURGEUMEISTER HACHMANN. The German steamer Burgei'mqlster Hachniann arrived from Xcw _ork, via Melbourne and Sydney, at 0 a.m. to-day. She left New York on August 5, aud arrived at Melbourne U5 days inter. After a stay of 24 hours in Melbourne she sailed for Sydney, Dually clearing from the latter port for Auckland on tho 14th Inst. Moderate to line weather prevailed throughout the passage. The steamer has 1300 t.0113 of cargo for Auckland, 1800 tons for Wellington, 1200 tons for Lyttclton, and 1200 tons for Dnnedln. She sails for the South on Saturday evening, and on completion of her discharge proceeds to Newcastle to load coal for the West Coast of America, returning to Germany with n cargo of salt. The steamer is commanded by Captain Aim, the other officers being: Chief, Mr Mnurer; second, Mr Bornost; third, Mr Ycvs. Chief engineer, Mr Fischer; second, Mr Werner; third. Mr Kiel. THE PENGUIN. H.M. surveying ship Penguin, which left Sydney for Auckland last Thursday, passed Cape Maria Van Dlcmen last evening, and should arrive here to-morrow.
