BANDSMEN IN A ROW.
" (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WOODVILLE, this day. The eases in which the Austral Band is concerned were heard yesterday, occupying thu Court till past five o'clock. There were four charges. Eccles, driver of the coach, was charged with striking Bandsman Johns with a whip. The evidence was conflicting, but the Bench held that defendant was guilty of assault, though a trivial one, and fined him 1/ and costs. Eccles then charged Gore with using insulting language, but the charge was dismissed. Eccles and Johns were jointly charged with a' breach of the peace at the railway station. The I' oh decided that the latter was respons 1 for the trouble, dismissed Eccles and uned Johns £2 and costs, in default ten days. Bandsman Gower and Rosenberg (a civilian) were similarly charged. The Bench held that Gower was the aggressor, fined him £1 and costs or seven days, and the other defendant 10/ and costs.
